yoga mat bag – almost done

yoga mat bag – almost done

Ok, it’s been a million years since I’ve updated here. Whatever. I’ve been very busy. With work, work, and more work. And I’ve just gotten lazy about taking pictures of the things I’m knitting…

I have 1…2…3…4..5…6 projects on needles that are in some stage or another. Some are nearly done (see….the yoga mat bag in the picture…slippers that will be my first felted project….a blanket or two….)…and some are no where NEAR done (such as the beginning of my own felted bag…not even started as I am still stuck on untangling it while trying to wind it into a center pull ball).

I promise to get more pics up very soon. Be patient. :)

Hi

Sorry. I’ve been knitting but not posting. Will do so later. I promise!

Remember this?

Here is the lovely finished project. :D I actually finished it in February….But wanted to wait until my arms were a little more buff before I took a pic of it. Ha!

Baby VanSweden Blanket

Look! It’s 20% done!

Oh, and yeah….it’s nearly 50″ inches wide. Whoops….I only have until MAY to get this done. Argh….

I actually started this moss stitch blanket for my brother and his fiance (well, now WIFE)…But it wasn’t going to be…big enough for an adult. So I’m now going to complete it for another one of my baby cousins. :) I’ve already picked out a new off-white/creamy yarn for my brother and sister-in-law….

The baby blanket…

is now in full swing. I actually have already started using a second skein (out of 10) and I plan on using at LEAST 8 skeins. We’ll see if I decide to keep on trucking with the other two skeins…I am looking forward to taking them back, though, for store credit. You know, if I don’t use them. Enjoy. :)

Yarn for Baby!

Yarn for Baby!

Ok, this yarn probably isn’t the most GENDER friendly yarn for a baby. Especially a baby that we don’t know the gender of. And won’t find out about until May when the baby is actually born. :)

It looks kind of girly. If it turns out to be a boy, though, there IS a girl in the family it can be passed to.

Oh, yeah…I’m making an afghan.

will edit this post later.

just an update. the shrug is done. very cute. but not going to be nearly warm enough for the wedding. i should have done long sleeves…not cap ones. lol…

pictures to come soon…

Pink!

Pink!

Finally, something for me. I’m now wearing a black dress to my brother’s wedding. It’s sleeveless and I needed something to cover my shoulders. I’m making this adorable little shrug and I’m soooo excited about it!

The first run was with a black yarn (see previous entry) and I hated how it was turning out. I was doing the lace ALL WRONG at first and I frogged it. I love this color of pink though and I love love love love love this yarn. It’s so freaking soft and stretchy. I think I’ve made it a tad small, but I think with the stretchiness of it all, it’s going to work out JUST fine.
